The first thing that jumps off the page for me when I had to write my essay is the flat salary for the first three years. In most professions, my value in the job market increases most dramatically during my first three years of work experience. Yet few if any employers reward early career employees with substantial pay raises. In most fields this creates a job market anomaly which makes it very attractive for ambitious young people to jump ship after two years for better pay elsewhere.
