Idolization and the Claustrum: An Extreme Case of Obsessional Neurosis

Abstract


Anecdotal evidence suggest that analysts are being referred an increasing
number of teenagers with severe obsessive neurosis. One factor seems to be
that these children have been raised by very overwhelming, devouring, and
even idolizing mothers. An extreme example is given.
