Abstract

This article traces the influence of Ferenczi on some of his psychoanalytic
heirs, notably Winnicott. The author singles out certain ideas and statements
that were already present in Ferenczi’s clinical and theoretical work,
including his intuitions about femininity, child analysis and play.
