Endogenous Stimulation: A Theory of Early Development and the Beginning of Envy

Abstract

The present paper is centered on a theory of endogenous stimulation derived from human and animal research. The theory begins with a model of endogenous stimulation connected to dream formation. It then moves to a theory of early development and focuses on adaptive and destructive envy. This developmental model is based on the theory of endogenous stimulation. In addition I explore anthropological findings about motherhood and hypothesize how these findings relate to the plasticity of human (and mammalian) development. The end of the paper shows how
